Dementia & memory loss

When memory changes, routine matters most.

For a person living with memory loss, the world gets less predictable. The most useful thing care can do is push back on that — the same caregiver, the same rhythm, the same face coming back week after week. That consistency isn't a comfort feature of how we work; it's the whole design.

How we help

What this looks like, day to day

A consistent caregiver, not a rotation

Unfamiliar faces are hard on a person with cognitive change. Every CarePali family is paired with a consistent caregiver who learns routines, preferences, and limits — and when coverage is needed, it comes from within our small team, never an outside fill-in. Your family meets everyone within the first month.

Days built around routine

Bathing, dressing, meals, hydration, and gentle structure — delivered unhurried, at the senior's pace. Modesty, pace, and water temperature matter more than efficiency.

Eyes that notice change early

Caregivers log comfort, skin, and cognitive observations, and a licensed RN reviews the clinical details — so subtle changes surface before they become crises.

Presence for the hard hours

Late-day confusion and overnight restlessness are often the heaviest part for families. Near-daily and overnight coverage is available through the Full Presence plan for advanced cognitive conditions.

Families usually start with the Continuity Plan (4–5 days per week) and move to Full Presence as needs deepen.

An honest note on scope

What we do — and what we don't

CarePali is not a memory-care facility and not a dementia-specialty agency. We provide the daily-living layer — routine, personal care, companionship, and safety awareness — for families navigating memory loss at home. If your parent needs dementia-specialty support beyond that, we'll say so in the first conversation and point you to someone in the area who does it well.

The first step is a 30-minute conversation.

Not a sales call — a clinical and operational read on your loved one's situation, your family's needs, and whether CarePali is the right fit. Patrick personally leads every discovery call. If we're the right team, we'll show you exactly what care would look like for your situation. If we're not, we'll tell you who in the area is.
